Everyone of our grooming sessions begins with a quick Health Check to ensure your dog is fit to proceed with grooming.
Your Dog Health Check includes:
We check all of these areas for any signs of stress or irregularities such as infections, cuts, sores, lumps/bumps, matting, bruising, skin conditions & parasites basically anything out of the ordinary. If we find anything unusual we will notify you. If your dog has any pain or injury that we feel needs immediate veterinary attention, or would cause discomfort to your dog during grooming we will notify you immediately and reschedule your appointment for when your dog is fit & well again.
Regular trips to the groomers help to keep your dog in tip-top condition & maintain it’s overall health. If your dog’s fur is overgrown and matted, infected cuts, skin conditions or parasites could be lurking beneath your dog’s fur unbeknownst to you. Matting can cause severe discomfort to your dog with its fur pulling each time it walks which is why regular home brushing as well as Grooming Studio visits are so important.
Here in Gabby & Miley’s Grooming Studio we only use specially formulated professional products that best suit your dogs skin/coat type. If your dog has any skin conditions for which your vet has prescribed a specific shampoo such as Malaseb we will gladly use your prescribed shampoo as presented, & advised by your veterinarian.
